In an area of Midtown sorely lacking in mid-priced, sophisticated restaurants, Salute! is one spot you can count on. It offers a wide range of good Mediterranean and Italian fare. The restaurant gets crowded during lunch on weekdays and after work. Fried calamari and gourmet pizzas are menu standouts, but most other items are also worth ordering.
