This landmark restaurant founded in 1921 has become a Broadway legend. Sardi's is known for its theatrical clientele more than for the cuisine, and the walls are aptly decorated with caricatures of famous stage and screen personalities. The menu has something for everyone. Specials include such items as Pan Seared Salmon Escalope, Beef Stew Provencal and California Mesclun Salad. Sardi's also offers late night suppers and a prix fixe dinner. The staff is friendly and attentive even to those who are not famous, and there is a bar available.
