This place opened in 1979 to give a second chance to contemporary plays that failed to find an audience for several reasons. This production house is an Off-Broadway institution involved in developing plays, artists and audiences. The Spelling Bee, Privilege by Paul Weitz, and Birdie Blue by Cheryl West are some of the forthcoming attractions to look out for in 2005.
