One of the most vibrant theatre companies in New York, Second Stage Theatre, was formed in 1979 to give new life to contemporary American plays through 'second stagings'. It also provides emerging authors with off-Broadway debuts, and hosts some of world-famous productions. Past productions have been innumerable but to name a few, Crowns, Madhouse in Goa, Flux, Saturday Night and Zooman And The Sign. This year begins with a funny, sardonic musical called Putnam County Spelling Bee; it will be on from Jan 11-March 6, 2005.
