Shopsin's General Store is actually a restaurant. It has an extensive menu that lists hundreds of soups, sandwiches and other items, in addition to a blackboard full of daily specials. It is full of booths and offers a counter area too, and welcomes children by selling candy and placing dozens of toys at each booth. The only drawback to dining at Shopsin's is that the owners seem to close whenever they choose, so it is wise to call ahead and make sure they are open.
