Sin-é (pronounced shin-ay) was an important club introducing New Yorkers to key talent in the early 1990s. In St. Mark's Place in the East Village, Sin-é helped launch the likes of Katell Keineg, Jeff Buckley, and David Gray. Today Sin-é has a busy calendar of some of the best avant-garde groups in the City: Citizen Cope, Northern Hues, Heloise and the Savior Faire, Double Dong and Wyld Lixx, and The Killer Elite.
