Masculine décor punctuated by a large wooden bar and oak floors sets the stage for serious meat eaters. There is sirloin, filet mignon, prime ribs and porterhouse, just to name a few cuts of beef. Feast on a 20-oz. porterhouse steak cooked to perfection, accompanied by a baked potato and spinach. Fish and chicken are also available. The staff is fairly friendly, although usually hurried and a bit snooty. The more casual Wollensky's Grill is next door at 205 East 49th St at Third Avenue (+1 212 753 0444).
