This chic East Village gay lounge is difficult to describe because the interior is so black. The walls are black. The upholstery is black. Even the sophisticated patrons wear all black. There is candlelight and an interesting wooden chandelier but no other illumination. Everyone looks like a silhouette as they sip cocktails and mingle with other shadowy figures. Starlight gets very crowded on the weekend, with a lesbian night on Sunday. Cash only.
