Word of mouth has made this split-level Lower East Side spot one of the hottest bars in a happening part of town. There is no sign outside, but once inside it is very welcoming. Clearly, the proprietors are trying to give people their money's worth, with lots of interesting things to look at-the glowing, cloth covered television and the hole between the two floors are particularly interesting. DJs and special parties are regular features. There used to be a sushi bar inside, but no more.
