This lively place with occasional live music has been around since the early 1970s, offering first-rate Mexican (actually Tex-Mex) food in a warm and fun-filled setting. Big platter portions, big drinks and the introduction of Spanish-style tapas to the already ethnically mixed menu has only made it more popular with regulars. A skylight, plants and amusing decorations improve the dining room, and a covered garden is available at the rear. Burritos, enchiladas, tacos, tapas, fajitas, clams and calamari are all available. The house sangria is also much in demand.
