Since its opening in 1998, this club has been touted as one of the premier venues for avant-garde and experimental jazz, rock and electronic music in the city. Located in what used to be a kosher wine market, Sean Lennon and John Zorn are occasional performers. The space is dark, narrow, and intimate with red velvet drapes, a nice bar and folding chairs that face the small stage. The atmosphere is hip but unpretentious. Ticket prices vary but usually range between $5 and $15. Only cash is accepted.
