Underbar, the lounge inside the W Hotel Union Square, offers dim light, stylized but comfortable couches, top shelf liquor and super thin waitresses. Thus, it attracts a beautiful, sophisticated crowd, most of who do not stay at the hotel. Underbar is located below ground (hence the name), through a separate side entrance on 17th Street.
