From the coat check all the way to dessert, this is an example of what a great restaurant should be: excellent food, superior service and an enjoyable experience for all. Chef Michael Romano prepares some great New American cuisine with Italian accents, using fresh ingredients purchased from the nearby Union Square Greenmarket. Famed restaurateur Danny Meyer makes sure everything is just right in the pleasantly decorated dining room, and the wine list is considered to be one of the best in the city. However, it can be extremely difficult to get a reservation here.
