First held in 1877, this prestigious two-day dog show is the oldest of its kind in the United States. Started by a group of sportsmen and dog lovers, the competition draws owners and their dogs from around the world. They are vying for the title of "Best In Show" at Westminster. From the over 2,500 dogs competing, only one dog will be selected as the winner based on the standards of the American Kennel Club (AKC), ranging from gait and color to temperament and appearance.
