Who thought that wine carafes would kick up such a storm, but they are. First seen at the restaurant at the Modern Art Museum, they come in three shapes and sizes. There is a tall slender one with a rounded base, another one which is shorter, deeper and more rounded. The smallest is designed by Ole Jensen and costs about $60. You can find these at Gracious Home, Royal Copenhagen and Barneys.
